Otzi London is a design studio set up by Otis Ingrams in 2013. It is currently based in North London.
Working to individual briefs, OTZI promotes close working relationships with designers, interior designers, artists, makers and brands to create unique and functional pieces. OTZI facilitates the making of both small and large quantities for private and commercial purposes, believing both handmade and mass produced products demand an equal level of design and craft.
OTZI is committed to sourcing the finest leathers and materials where possible and creates everything using both traditional and contemporary techniques. The studio uses leathers that are predominantly vegetable tanned from the UK, Italy or Spain and any timber is responsibly sourced. This is based in a belief that natural and sustainable materials have intrinsic value and idiosyncratic characteristics that synthetic materials cannot produce. OTZI uses craft techniques wherever possible for the human element they provide and the superior results they produce.
OTZI was born out of a need to work with our hands and a desire to design timeless, functional and durable items that people engage with on a daily basis. At our core is a belief in simplistic design that showcases honest and beautiful materials, creating objects with integrity.
