I worked in a life-like but impressionist sculpting style and integrated his lower half into the base of the sculpture to give him weight and substance. This also further adds to the impression of his height as he stands up above the foliage to get a better view. This original art, rearing grizzly bear sculpture is hand cast bronze using the lost wax method. The edition size for the sculpture is 15. Size is 8 inches high. Each of her hand cast bronze sculptures are done using the centuries-old lost wax method which captures all the details of the sculpture perfectly - even my finger prints!
