HANDLING AND USE OF THE PRODUCT: Kurtulan perceives every piece of jewellery as a work of art, which must stay in good condition for its lifetime. Do not keep your jewellery in closed or airtight spaces for long periods of time. Environments lacking oxygen cause oxidation on the surface of the jewellery possibly resulting in a change in its colour. Silver oxidation is natural and to be expected. Your "gold fused" jewellery is less likely to oxidize or turn colour when in contact with skin, so don't forget to wear your pieces periodically. The softness of the 24K gold is natural and a testament to its pureness. So please try to protect your jewellery against any impact. Use care when handling and storing your jewellery to prevent scratches. The pieces should not touch or rub against each other. White gold consists of pure gold, palladium and some other elements. It is recommended that white gold be maintained from time to time so that it can continue to glitter. Silver may become oxidized; however, it can be wiped with a soft cloth. We are using the best chemical available for oxidation of Silver: But of course, oxidation is a surface treatment and it's not durable like the metal itself.Only precious and semi-precious gemstones and precious metals are used in the production of Kurtulan jewellery. But as is common in the gemstone industry, colour and clarity improvement techniques like heating, fractures filling, color oiling, laser processes etc. are applied to the stones in some cases, which make them more sensitive to temperature variations and rapid temperature changes. Diamonds will not get scratched easily but they may break. Engagement rings, diamond rings and bracelets or products with colour stones need special care for daily wear. It is recommended that the jewellery does not come in contact with cosmetics such as hair spray, creams, soaps, detergents, perfumes, or any other chemicals. It is also advised to avoid contact with water, thermal springs and spas. This is especially applicable to many organic gemstones including emeralds, rose cut diamonds, pearls, turquoise, lapis lazuli, mother of pearl, coral, etc. Mercury is extremely harmful for metals. Do not let products come into contact with mercury. If a contact takes place, your Jewellery needs to go into attentive care a Kurtulan point of sale. Enamelled products are sensitive to chemical substances and falls. We recommend all customers, to preserve their products as if they were works of art. *Gold fusion is a production method which is specialized by Kurtulan Jewellery. It should not be confused with electro plating and has no relation to any other traditional plating method The process is basically, taking a sheet of 24K yellow gold and fusing it to a 925K silver sheet, creating a bi-metal formation and making it much more elegant.
